Family traveller, 4 pax from Canada, Sep, 2022.
We had a wonderful time to experience one of the most oldest onsen hot-spring town at Kinosaki, Japan. Toyooka city is the homeland of Japan bag making.
There are many Ryokans in Kinosaki and we stayed at Nishimuraya, amember of Relais et Chateau in accordance with advices and that was wanderful. You can enjoy many onsen here and there when just wandering in the night, that is a way of Kinosaki onsen area. Very impressive at hospitality of all the towns.
Just 10 miles away from Kinosaki, you will find famous castle town named Izushi where you can enjoy local ways of eating Japanese noodles, making your own bags from local natural resources by local artizans, taking a look at regacy of an old castle as well as you will watch Kabuki here because they have a Kabuki theater here!
Kinosaki area is just 2 hours by train from Kyoto, so that if you have a plan to go to Kyoto, this is the must-go places! Do not miss it!
